Nicole Svihel, PA-C
Family Medicine
"I want to help you live the best life you possibly can!"
I believe in a collaborative approach to healthcare with a strong focus on patient education. PAs work in teams with physicians to improve coordination and quality of care, and strive to “treat the whole person.”
Nicole’s interests include women's health, children's health, and preventive medicine. She enjoys teaching PA students, and continues to further her own medical career through additional training in leadership and most recently integrative medicine.
Some common services she provides include women’s health procedures such as pap smears and birth control insertions. She also performs other family medicine procedures such as splinting/casting of broken bones, suture placement and removal and wart treatments.
Her hobbies include music, cooking, downhill skiing, reading, and travelling. She also volunteers at an area free clinic, serves on the Board of Directors for Kinship of Polk County, and traveled to the Philippines in 2014 on a medical mission trip.
