Andrew Schmiesing, MD
Orthopedic Medicine, Orthopedic Surgery, Surgery
Philosophy of Care: My ultimate goal in caring for patients is to reduce pain, improve function and improve quality of life. To do this, it is important to provide a diagnosis then work with the patient and family to decide what the best treatment is for them and their situation through education, listening, and working together to develop a treatment plan.
Personal Interests: Outside of the specialty clinic at OMC, I am a specialist for Twin Cities Orthopedics. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family, skiing/snowboarding, working in the yard, and traveling.
Fun Fact: I was drafted by the Minnesota Twins in 2007.
