About Me

Length of time at OMC:
Before coming to OMC in 2021, I worked as a nurse practitioner in urgent care with Hudson Physicians.

Why do you like working at OMC?
One of the reasons I like working at OMC is the small town, rural feel. It is clear that the community is very close knit and looks out for each other, and I am proud to be a part of this community and do my part to serve my neighbors.

What is your philosophy of care?
My philosophy of care as a nurse practitioner is to create a partnership with my patients that includes education and informed decision making. I approach care by working together with patients and families to create an open, honest dialogue, establish health goals and expectations, provide recommendations, and arrive at a mutually agreed upon treatment plan.

What do you like to do when you’re not at OMC?
I live on a 20-acre hobby farm with my husband, our one-year-old son Jack, two large dogs, 16 chickens and five Icelandic sheep. I love to hike, run, bike, garden and spend time outdoors. Beyond that, we are currently working on taking our 1870s farmhouse off the grid.

Fun Fact about me:
While in nursing school, I was a division I student-athlete in cross country and track, and post-collegiately I qualified to represent Team USA in two international cross country races in Jamaica and Scotland. Even thought I no longer run competitively, I still enjoy getting outdoors to run most days!

Dr. Nguyen was amazing. He is so friendly. He answered all your questions. He is very professional. I ... first time we've ever seen him, so I would definitely recommend him as a provider. Our experience was nothing but great, the whole time.

Nicole did a great job on the well child visits. She really encouraged healthy lifestyle, and took time to talk to my daughter and get her feedback, and include her in care.
