About Me

Length of time at OMC:
Before coming to OMC in 2019, I worked at Park Nicollet Maple Grove in primary care for 6 years. Prior to that, I worked in the Observation Unit in the ER at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis. My PA career started in Orthopedics at St. Croix Orthopedics. I would occasionally operate when on call at OMC.
Before becoming a PA, I was a Registered Dietitian at Mayo Clinic and consulted as a dietitian for HyVee Foods in Rochester.

Why do you like working at OMC?
I was attracted to OMC because of all the wonderful things family and friends shared about their care at Scandia Clinic or OMC. I am passionate about providing high quality patient care, so when we moved to the area I was excited to have the opportunity to join a group with such a good reputation.

What is your philosophy of care?
As a provider, my primary role is to listen to and understand what brings someone into the Walk-In Clinic. Once I gather all the information, I’ll evaluate and analyze the symptoms, then explain the diagnosis and treatment plan. Previous patients have described me as a good listener and educator as well as empathetic.

What do you like to do when you’re not at OMC?
When not at OMC, I love to run, cross country ski, down hill ski and garden. I also highly value time with my large extended family, as well as my husband and kids!

Fun Fact about me:
I was a Division 1 athlete in college!
