About Me

Length of time at OMC:
Before coming to OMC in 2018, I worked as a family nurse practitioner and clinic manager for The Little Clinic in Nashville, TN from 2015 until winter of 2018. Prior to that I worked for Target Clinic in 2014. I worked as a registered nurse for St. John’s Hospital in Maplewood, MN in oncology and med/surgery prior to obtaining my nurse practitioner certification.

Why do you like working at OMC?
I enjoy the small town environment and the familiarity that comes with caring for your neighbors and community members. Coming from a large city I was searching for something that felt invested in the wellbeing of its community members.

What is your philosophy of care?
I focus on treating each patient with integrity and respect, and individualizing care for each patient. My goal is to provide patient-centered care and help each patient on their journey to wellness. I follow a holistic model of health in that I believe wellness includes the body, mind, and soul, and that living a healthy lifestyle and “being well” requires a partnership between each patient and their medical provider.

What do you like to do when you’re not at OMC?
I love being active, I’m not someone who enjoys sitting still for long. Fitness is a huge part of my life and something I’m passionate about. I enjoy spending time with my husband, our pug, and traveling.

Fun Fact about me:
I enjoy singing and have performed at multiple weddings, funerals, and other events.

Dr. Nguyen was amazing. He is so friendly. He answered all your questions. He is very professional. I ... first time we've ever seen him, so I would definitely recommend him as a provider. Our experience was nothing but great, the whole time.

Nicole did a great job on the well child visits. She really encouraged healthy lifestyle, and took time to talk to my daughter and get her feedback, and include her in care.
