David Lang, MD, earned his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin, School of Medicine, in Madison, WI, and completed his residency in family medicine at the Hennepin County Medical Center, a Level 1 Trauma Center in Minneapolis, MN. He is also board certified in both family medicine and sports medicine. He joined OMC’s Emergency Department in 2010, after spending 10 years practicing family care, sports medicine and urgent care in Burnsville, MN.
Lang has a special interest in treating acute illness and injuries, and sports medicine. He has worked with professional organizations such as the Minnesota Vikings, Minnesota Timberwolves and St. Paul Saints. He has also provided medical coverage for events and venues, including the Boston Marathon and Canterbury Park.
He lives in Savage, MN, with his twin boys, Anthony and Christopher, and his Maltese dog, Ruffles.
