Athletic Training

Athletic Training

Our Athletic Training program is designed for Osceola School District coaches and athletes to help prevent, diagnose, treat, and rehabilitate your athletes all year long. The staff consists of an Athletic Medical Director, Athletic Trainer and Physical Therapist.

Our athletic trainer attends all practices and games and manages the day-to-day tasks to prevent, diagnose, treat, and rehabilitate your athletes.

If injuries occur, our athletic trainer follows up with your athletes and coordinates care for return-to-play. If necessary, the trainer may consult the athletic medical director or physical therapist.

See our team of athletic trainers and fitness instructors at our adjacent facility, Wild River Fitness!

Help us protect your athletes:

  1. Schedule well visits every year, athletic screenings every other year and concussion impact baseline tests every 2 years.

  2. The athletic trainer can coordinate care with our medical director to ensure seamless care.

  3. Report all injuries to the athletic trainer. If an athlete visit a medical provider for injuries, request medical record be sent to the athletic trainer so return-to-play protocols are followed.

  4. Contact your clinic’s Release of Information department to request a injury records be sent to: Osceola Medical Center Attn: Athletic Trainer, PO Box 218, Osceola, WI 54020

Since we first opened our doors in 1932, OMC’s mission has remained the same: to inspire and improve the health and well-being of our community by combining quality "big city" healthcare with home-town customer service.
