After earning his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Des Moines University, he honed his skills through a rigorous residency at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, WI. But he didn't stop there; Dr. Thompson further specialized in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery during his fellowship at the renowned Orthopedic Foot & Ankle Center in Columbus, Ohio.
His professional background is impressive, encompassing a wide array of specialties within the realm of podiatry. Dr. Thompson is adept in treating conditions ranging from sports injuries to complex reconstructive needs, including bunion correction, arthroscopic surgery, total ankle replacements, and diabetic foot care.
