Pulmonology is the medical science that provides care for disorders of the lungs and respiratory system. Knowing that a lung or respiratory disorder can be frightening and possibly life-changing, we are committed to providing compassionate care and a personalized treatment plan that fits with your particular needs and lifestyle.

Working with St. Croix Regional Medical Center in St. Croix Falls, WI, we combine resources, technology, clinical methodology, education and prevention to provide you with diagnostic, treatment and follow-up services. This includes fluoroscopies and imaging; pulmonary function and exercise testing; chronic lung disease management; medication and monitoring; and surgery.

Talha Khan, MD, Pulmonologist

Talha Khan, MD, of St. Croix Regional Medical Center, St. Croix Falls, WI, is board-certified in Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine. He earned his medical degree from the Dow Medical College, University of Karachi, in Pakistan. He completed his residency at Hennepin County Medical Center, fellowships at the University of Minnesota and Medical College of Wisconsin, and internships at Civil Hospital in Karachi.

Valerie Hathaway-Kuehl, PA-C, Pulmonology

Valerie Hathaway-Kuehl, PA-C, of St. Croix Regional Medical Center, St. Croix Falls, WI, is a graduate of St. Catherine University in St. Paul, MN. She earned her physician assistant degree from Augsburg College in Minneapolis. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

Hathaway-Kuehl has been working in respiratory care since 2009.

Hathaway-Kuehl lives with her family in Mahtomedi, MN. She enjoys hiking, home remodeling and knitting.
