General Surgery

The John Simenstad Surgery Center at OMC offers you a unique combination of personal attention from a highly trained staff, cutting-edge technology and a comfortable, private atmosphere.

Our new Surgery Center boasts state-of-the-art operating and procedure rooms, private recovery rooms and a large waiting area separate from the hospital’s main lobby. Improved technologies, such as digital imaging for X-rays and CT scans, provide faster and more accurate diagnoses, while tools such as laparoscopic surgery and harmonic scalpels, allow for minimally-invasive procedures.

More than 80 types of surgery are offered at OMC, with the most common being general surgery, total joint replacements, OB/Gyn procedures such as C-Sections and hysterectomies, ENT surgeries such as tonsillectomies, urology, and lesion removals. We also offer surgical specialties in other areas such as dental, orthopedics and podiatry. A surgeon is available for emergency surgeries and C-sections 24 hours a day.

With a staff that gives you one-on-one attention and a top-of-the-line facility, know that you are in exceptional hands when you choose to have surgery at OMC.
